I love acting because it fuels me, it takes me places that I have never been and want to go. I feel my life as an actor has given me a more thoughtful outlook on life and people. Of all acting the part of the industry that intrigues me the most is film. I love filmmaking and the beauty that comes from watching a film. From that lost nostalgia feeling of being taken to a place that reminds you of moments within your life to feeling empowered after watching a film that speaks to your specific truth in your life. Recent Movies such as Sinners with a load of cultural references to a more fun movie such as Superman that gives a feeling of hope for the world. Actors Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, etc. all of this fuels me to want to star in movies and make my own way in the industry. While I only want to go into film, I do like theatre as well, which is why I am getting an education in it because I believe a true actor is a jack of all trades. It’s not just about talent but hard work and having a degree sets you apart from others without one. I want to be one of the greatest though still keep my moral compass, and to do that I have to put in the work and also stand my ground in what I am about.
