American Theatre Magazine recently published an article about Theatre alum, playwright Nathan Alan Davis. The article features Davis' work highlighting his four 2023 world premieres. One of the plays mentioned, Origin Story, was workshopped and produced at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Department of Theatre in 2021.
"In all these different worlds, his work comes from a place of confidence and curiosity," said Anna Morton Stacey, Roundtable's former literary manager and the show's dramaturg, who was instrumental in Refuge being programmed..."His writing is self-assured in all genres."
