AUDITIONS

The M.F.A. Acting program accepts applications every three years; the next academic years in which applications will be accepted are 2025-26 for Fall 2026 admission.

Illinois Theatre participates in the U/RTA National Auditions in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.

We also have ON CAMPUS audition options when auditioning a new class of MFA actors.

The three-year graduate acting program leads to a terminal professional degree in theatre performance. Graduate actors meet daily in four-hour sessions including acting, movement (including stage combat), voice and speech.
