Alec LaBau

Biography

Alec LaBau is currently serving as the Assistant Audio Director at the Krannert Center. He received his BFA in sound design from Utah State University and continued his education earning an MFA from the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC). Alec has worked nationally as a sound designer and engineer with the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival (MO), Kansas City Repertory Theatre (MO), Crossroads Theatre Company (NJ), Actors Theatre Kansas City (MO), and the Old Lyric Repertory Theatre in Logan, Utah. Prior to coming to the Krannert Center, Alec worked as the Assistant Technical Director for Production Services at the Old Lyric Reperatory Theatre at Utah State University.
