Faculty Work in Chicago
Associate Professor of Scenic Design Regina Garcia created the contemporary museum gallery, hospice apartment, ancient Greek temple, and 17th-century artist’s studio for The Rembrandt, produced by Steppenwolf Theatre and featuring longtime company member John Mahoney. The Chicago Sun-Times called her the “unseen star of this production” and praised her designs as brilliant. After Thanksgiving, Lisa Dixon will be “majestic in her magnanimity,” according to the Chicago Tribune, as the Ghost of Christmas Past in the Goodman Theatre’s annual production of A Christmas Carol. Dixon, who is an associate professor of acting, is playing the role for the third time.
