A Bit More about Rick-
Rick Mireles- (He/Him) is a 2016 graduate of the MFA Stage Management program. Originally from south Texas, Rick received his BA and MA in theatre at the University of Texas-Pan American. While at the University of Illinois he had the opportunity to work on various productions in Theatre, Dance, and Opera (now Lyric Theatre). He also worked with many guest directors and artists and not to mention is his fellow peers, colleagues, and friends. Rick has served as the stage management intern for the O’Neill Theatre Center for their National Playwright Conference and Cabaret Conference, 2014. He also served as the ASM for Creede Repertory Theatre, summer of 2015, where he had the opportunity to work on the world premiere of George Brant’s Good on Paper. Rick also had the pleasure of working with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks for their summer (2016) and Fall (2016) tours, working alongside fellow alum Kevin Asslein (Artistic Director). Rick just recently accepted the position of stage manager for Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Off-Center for their 2016-2017 season and moved to Denver. At Off Center Rick will have the pleasure of working on 4 productions ranging from: improv, a Christmas show, an immersive off-site piece, and a drag/Comicon based production. Rick is excited for this next chapter in his life and ready to bring the skills, knowledge, and passion to the arts.
