Angela Pinholster

About Angela

Angela Pinholster is receiving her Ph.D. in the Theatre for Youth and Community program at the School of Music, Dance and Theatre at Arizona State University. She is an educator and scholar who works to understand and create immersive experiences that have profound effects on youth development, including theatrical works, theme parks, and transformative educational experiences. Prior to her doctoral studies, Angela founded and led a nonprofit arts-integrated Title I public charter school in Phoenix. She holds two master’s degrees in education, and, prior to those, she worked off Broadway as a stage manager and production assistant.
