Christina (Tina) Haatainen Jones

BIO

Christina Haatainen Jones (Tina) has worked as a costume designer and sculptor for more than 40 years. Locally her designs can be seen in the Lincoln Library and Museum. Her work has appeared nationwide and internationally for the Walt Disney Company (Anaheim and Tokyo), Dreamworks, and Paramount Studios, in addition to film and regional theatres such as the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, the La Jolla Playhouse, the Geffen Theatre, and Denver Center among others. She is currently the Costume Director for Experience Design at Nickelodeon.

Tina has recently relocated to Champaign from Los Angeles where she spent 15 years on the faculty at the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts. 10 of those years she served as the Director of Design.
