Thom Miller received his B.A. (Theatre) and M.F.A. (Playwriting) from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. As a writer his first full-length play, Three, won the Christian H. Moe award. His plays Untitled/Love/Affair and The Audition had their world premieres at the Pittsburgh New Works Festival. He has twice been a participant in the Kennedy Center Playwright’s Intensive. As an actor he has portrayed many diverse roles, playing both Louis Ironson and Prior Walter in Angels in America: Millennium Approaches, Father Flynn in Doubt and Uncle Peck in How I Learned to Drive. He is currently the Theatre Studies BFA Coordinator and as a lifelong learner, pursuing a certificate in screenwriting from UCLA.
