Emmanuel's Bio & Resume

“…My wish for you is that you feel no need to constrict yourself to make other people comfortable.”
–Ta-Nehisi Coates, Between the World & Me

Throughout my artistry, I strive to present truthful representations of the joys, sorrows, ecstasies, pains, loves, and losses of minority groups and the differently abled; especially stories about Black lives. More specifically, I want to change the narratives surrounding People with Albinism (PWA) that either erase their existence or misrepresent them as hollow caricatures void of humanity. Ultimately, I want create art that represents differently abled peoples, POC, PWA, and their children in all their brilliance on all the world’s stages and silver screens. And I’m gonna do it as my whole blackity black black black BLACK self.
